We are inviting you to be a part of exclusive release for Angie Keilhauer’s Born To Drive music video on May 16, 2017…

Why you’re here:

This has been an incredible grassroots project sponsored by Marissa Inc Production Co. The video was the biggest project we’ve put on, inviting hundreds of friends, and friends of friends, to join us in the desert to film this fast paced, high energy video. You can read more about how this enormous project came together on Angie’s blog here. We would be honored if you were one of the exclusive outlets that shared her video the day of the release, showing that, consistent with why we’re asking you, you are always ahead of the game when it comes to breaking news of upcoming artists in the country scene.

Angie has been touring full-time while managing herself for the past four years. That journey has taken her to Season 10 on The Voice, given her a top 5 original album, and allowed her to release a song under Hollywood Records with Disney star Jordan Fisher– just to name a few highlights of the past 12 months. Racking tens of thousands of YouTube views every week, Angie has become the unsigned country artist to watch. I believe in her music enough to volunteer my work in this project along with every other person you see in the video.

About the song:

Before she could call herself a full time musician, Angie worked at a mustang-only salvage yard, taking apart cars for 8 hours a day. She would drive for hours to play honkey-tonks and dive bars every weekend. This song was written in reference to one of her co-workers who refused to sell his smelly old El Camino. As Angie says, “He was a little crazy and only ever cared about driving, but he and I got along because, well, all I ever cared about music…so I guess I was a little crazy too. He was the only one that really believed I should pursue music instead of going back to school.” On a long drive on tour from Baltimore to Atlanta, Angie wrote this song combining both of their stories. “It’s basically a song about throwing all common sense out the window and just believing that you were fundamentally made to do what you truly love… to throw yourself carelessly and completely into every part of that passion and let it take you over.”
